1۔ ماشاء اللہ، الرسالہ میں موجود ایک ایک آرٹیکل موجودہ پريشان كن حالات سے نپٹنے کا خوبصورت حل پیش کرتاہے ۔ اگر الرسالہ کا پیغام ہر ہر مسلمان تک پہنچ سکے ، اوروہ اسے سمجھ جائیں تو ہماری زندگیوں میں ایک خاموش انقلاب آسکتا ہے۔ جزاک اللہ خیرا کثیرا (ڈاکٹر محی الدین، آندھرا پردیش، انڈیا)۔
2۔ 9 فروری 2022 ایران کلچر ہاؤس ، نئی دہلی کے زیر اہتمام ایک آن لائن پروگرام منعقد کیا گیا۔ پروگرام کا موضوع تھا، حضرت فاطمہ کی تعلیمات۔ سی پی ایس انٹرنیشنل کی چیر پرسن ڈاکٹر فریدہ خانم نے اس پروگرام کو خطاب کیا، اور پیغام دیا کہ حضرت فاطمہ کی زندگی سے ہمیں اپنی روزمرہ کی زندگی میں کیا سبق ملتا ہے۔ اور ہم خواتین موجودہ دور میں ان کی تعلیمات کو کیسے اپنی زندگی پر اپلائی کرسکتے ہیں۔ خطاب کافی پسند کیا گیا۔
3۔ ودیا جیوتی کالج آف تھیولوجی، نئی دہلی میں سی پی ایس انٹرنیشنل دہلی کی چیر پرسن،ڈاکٹر فریدہ خانم، اور سی پی ایس ممبر مولانا فرہاد احمد نے 2 ستمبر 2022 کو اسٹوڈنٹس کے سامنے قرآن، پیغمبر اسلام، اور مولانا وحید الدین خاں صاحب کی تعلیمات کے متعلق انگریزی زبان میں لکچر دیا۔ لکچر کے بعد سوال و جواب کا سیشن ہوا، ڈاکٹر فریدہ خانم نے سوالات کے جواب دیے۔ آخر میں تمام سامعین کو انگریزی ترجمۂ قرآن اور دیگر اسلامی لٹریچر دیا گیا۔
4۔ کیپٹن خرم قریشی ایرانڈیا میں پائلٹ ہیں۔ اسی کے ساتھ وہ ایک سنجیدہ داعی بھی ہیں۔ ان کی دعوت کا ایک طریقہ یہ ہے کہ وہ جہاں بھی جاتے ہیں مقامی لوگوں سے ملاقات کرکے دعوتی مواقع تلاش کرتے ہیں، اور دعوتی مشن کو آگے بڑھانے کا کام کرتے ہیں۔ ذیل میں ان کے دو اسفار کا حال ان کے الفاظ میں ذکر کیا جارہا ہے:
‘‘On 27.07.22, I met CPS members Muhiuddin Sb and Firdous Sb in Goa. Firdous Sb is the son of Siraj Sb, our senior CPS member, who has been distributing Quran and has been engaged in dawah for an extended period in Goa. His son Firdous Sb has been focusing on Quran distribution and carrying the family contribution towards the cause of God. I also met Muhiudddin sb, who has been doing amazing work on the Quran translation in Bengali and is reaching out with peace concepts amongst Muslims. Both are doing amazing work. A team expansion initiative with monthly meetings had been agreed upon to take the Quran distribution and building of dayees. All are requested to do special dua for the Goa Team. My experience only brings a feeling of Alhamdulillah.”
‘‘On 28.07.22, I Met brother Sajjad. He is an administrative officer in London’s Central Mosque, one of the largest mosques in Britain. He is a great admirer of Maulana. I gifted a set of Maulana’s English books for their newly opened library. They have also been distributing Quran, and my meeting with him went very well, Alhamdulillah. Insha Allah, many people will now benefit from the books of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan that are available in their beautiful library. All CPS members are requested to do continuous dua.”
5. Dawah Experience: Today (28. 03.2022), I distributed Maulana’s English translation of the Quran to my Professors and Collegemates at Anjuman I Islam’s Kalsekar Technical Campus. One of my Professors said, ‘‘It is essential to read the Quran with its translation. Your work will encourage others as well.” My seniors were looking for the Quran translation a day before, and coincidentally I gave it to them today. I also gifted the book, ‘‘God Arises”, to one of my Professors. Some non-Muslim students were asking, ‘‘How can we read this? It is for your religion.” I told them, ‘‘You can read it without any hesitation. It is the book for humanity, and this copy of the Quran has been translated into clear English.” I Presented Quran copies to eight Faculties members and 40 of my collegemates from the Department of Computer Science. All of them accepted it with pleasure. I want to acknowledge CPS Team Mumbai for allowing me to do dawah work. May Allah reward everyone and accept our deeds. (Nemat Khan, CPS Mumbai)
6. Center for Peace and Spirituality International, founded by Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, aims to promote and reinforce the culture of peace. I was recently at one of their zoom events as one of the speakers, talking about Emotional Intelligence. This group of women is hard-working, intelligent, kind, determined to spread the message of goodness and work tirelessly to leave a significant positive imprint on the minds of their viewers. Alhamdulillah, I must say they are all an inspiration. The miracle part of this story is that they have not met me or each other! And I can safely say they haven’t worked with each other as well before this coincidence. The common link is me. And both these groups decided to show their appreciation by sending me a gift each. They asked for my home address around the same time, and I was expecting the gifts to arrive around the same time. And they did. One sent me a beautiful ‘‘tree of life” inspired bookshelf. And the other sent me 22 gems from the treasure of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan’s Books. So I asked my children to assemble the bookshelf (home-schooling skills) and place these books on it. The whole picture means so much more than a bookshelf with books. It reminded me of Allah’s mercy, His plan, His love, and the love He bestows in the hearts of humans for each other. The beauty of our deen is that we gift each other to increase our love and appreciation for our brothers and sisters in Islam. I pray for their families the best of both worlds. 7. Interfaith Dialogue Meet: A Dawah program was organized in Chennai on the 6th and 7th of May 2022. The CPS Chennai and Bangalore CPS Teams participated in the Meet together. The details of this two-day program are as follows. On May 6, the CPS Team met the renowned Indian Soil Biologist, Ecologist and Professor Dr Sultan Ahmed Ismail, whom the Government of Tamil Nādu appointed a State Development Policy Council Member on 06.06.2021. The Chennai Team has been meeting the Professor for the last 5 years; from time to time, they have presented many books of Maulana to him. We visited his residence, and after the initial discussion, we introduced the CPS Mission. Dr Ismail, too, shared his 50 years of experience with us. And we also had the opportunity to share important things related to the CPS mission with him. Undoubtedly, this meeting proved to be a learning experience for us. Later on, a workshop on ‘The Life, Thoughts, and Peace Works of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan’ was held on May 6 at the Madras Institute of Development Studies (MIDS), Adyar, Chennai, which is a leading research institute in India. Professor Ananta Kumar Giri of MIDS assisted us in organizing this program. He presented his views on Maulana’s book ‘The Prophet of Peace’ at the beginning of the program. Scholars and intellectuals from around the country also participated in this program through Zoom. Chennai CPS member Mr Faiz Qadiri Spoke on Maulana’s Life, Thoughts and Services in Tamil, which was translated into English by writer and thinker Mr Sridhar Subramaniam.
Mr Siddhartha, Founder of Fireflies Intercultural Centre in Bangalore, who participated through Zoom, commented on the importance of Maulana’s literature in the present times. Then, a few questions were asked about Maulana’s views on various aspects, especially on the intolerant attitude shown by a section of the Muslim community for which responses were given. At the end of the program, Maulana’s English books were presented to Prof. Anant Kumar Giri as a gift to the MIDS Library. The session lasted for two and a half hours. And the program ended with the prayer of Hafiz Syed Iqbal Umri.
On May 7, 2022, in Hotel Al Noor Palace, Chennai, CPS Chennai and CPS Bangalore Teams discussed essential issues related to dawah. The Bangalore team shared their vision and made a presentation. The members present in this session also shared their views. This session proved to be very important in terms of learning.
A meeting with Swami Shrihariprasad Ji was arranged, and on May 7 2022, the team visited his Ashram. Swamiji met Maulana a few years ago and is a supporter of CPS, and he has been holding Interfaith Dialogue on Peace and Non-Violence for the last few years. Violence, patience, peace, and political interpretation of religion were discussed in the form of questions and answers with Swamiji and the members of the Ashram. The team presented them with some essential books of CPS in English, and they received them well. They, too, gifted books to our members. Swamiji invited the CPS Team to participate in his next program on non-violence. The meeting lasted for two hours. This was the last program of the trip. (Faiz Qadri, Tanveer Ilahi Omeri, Chennai)
8. Request to Attend Sunday Class at CPS: Assalmuleikum! I hope my email finds you in the best of health and spirit. Two years ago, my sister sent me the videos of Maulana Wahiduddin Khn. ; This was the first time I had heard someone focus so much on the minute details of how to live in this world so that we have a good world here and an even better one in the world Hereafter. Years passed, and I got busy just living life, to tell you the truth, surviving in life. One day when I was utterly dejected and rejected from this life, I came across a video of Maulana in which he told how the Chinese built their empire. The quote, ‘‘Zindagi mein itna peeche aa gaye ki aage badhne ke seva koi raasta nahi”, stuck with me and helped me to move forward in life. I am utterly thankful to God for allowing me to be a disciple of Maulana; even though I regret not meeting him in person in this life, his preaching will always live in my memory. As a beginner in faith, while contemplating the matters of life and the Hereafter, lots of questions arise in my mind, and at times, I am unable to grasp meanings from the Quran and Hadith. That is why I would like to attend weekly classes at the CPS Center, New Delhi that will help me to become a better believer and come across many, many unknown teachings and keep the wheel of learning ever moving.
