1-جون-جولائی 2008 میں گڈورڈ بکس (نئی دہلی) کی طرف سے شاہ عمران حسن کا صوبہ گجرات (انڈیا) کا سفر ہوا۔ یہ سفر تقریباً ایک ماہ پر مشتمل تھا۔ شاہ عمران حسن نے اطلاع دی ہے کہ گجرات کے دو بڑے شہروں، احمد آباد اور سورت میں، بڑی تعداد میں لوگ ماہ نامہ الرسالہ کے ممبر بنے۔ احمد آباد اور سورت میں حلقہ الرسالہ سے وابستہ احباب نے اپنا پوراتعاون دیا۔مسٹر الطاف ایم رفعت گجراتی زبان کے رائٹر (writer) ہیں۔ انھوں نے صدر اسلامی مرکز کی کتاب ’’انسان اپنے آپ کو پہچان‘‘ کا ترجمہ گجراتی زبان میں کیا ہے۔ جلد ہی یہ کتاب گڈ ورڈ بکس سے شائع ہوگی۔ اس کا گجراتی نام یہ ہے:

2-الرسالہ مشن کے دعوتی پروگرام کے تحت کشمیر کا سفر ہوا۔ یہ سفر 30 جولائی 2008 کو شروع ہوا اور 31 اگست کوواپسی ہوئی۔ ہمارے پاس الرسالہ کی کاپیاں اورمولانا وحیدالدین خاں کی20 مختلف موضوعات پر CDs تھیں۔ بڑی تعداد میں لوگ ماہ نامہ الرسالہ کے Subscriber بنے اور CDsحاصل کیں۔ وادی کشمیر میں بہت زیادہ لوگ الرسالہ مشن سے وابستہ ہیں اور وہ اس کو پھیلانے میں تگ و دو کر رہے ہیں۔ (شاہ عمران حسن)۔

3-دور درشن (نئی دہلی) کی ٹیم اور زی نیوز (نئی دہلی) کی ٹیم نے 29 جولائی 2008 کو صدر اسلامی مرکز کا ویڈیو انٹرویو ریکارڈ کیا۔ ٹی وی کی ان دونوں ٹیموں کا موضوع ایک تھا اور وہ تھا حالیہ دونوں میں بنگلور اور احمد آباد وغیرہ میں بم دھماکے کے واقعات۔ سوالات کے دوران بتایا گیا کہ اس قسم کے بم دھماکے اسلامی شریعت میں مکمل طورپر حرام ہیں۔ یہ جہاد نہیں ہے بلکہ فساد ہے۔ ایک سوال کے جواب میں بتایا گیا کہ قرآن میں ارشاد ہوا ہے کہ ایک معصوم انسان کو مارنا اتنا بڑا جرم ہے جیسے کہ سارے انسانوں کو مارڈالنا(المائدۃ: 32) تاہم ان واقعات کی صرف مذمت کرنا کافی نہیں ضرورت ہے کہ جو لوگ اس طرح کے واقعات میں ملوث ہیں، ان کو عبرت ناک سزا (deterrent punishment) دی جائے۔ سزا کے بغیر اس قسم کے جرائم بند ہونے والے نہیں۔

4 30 -جولائی 2008 کو اسلامی مرکز (نئی دہلی) کے آڈی ٹوریم میں ایک پریس کانفرنس ہوئی۔ اِس کانفرنس میں مختلف ملکی اور غیرملکی ٹی وی اور اخبار کے نمائندے شریک تھے۔ سب سے پہلے صدر اسلامی مرکز نے ’’اسلام اور دہشت گردی‘‘ کے موضوع پر خطاب کیا۔خطاب کے بعد سوال وجواب ہوا۔ اورپرسنل انٹرویو کی صورت میں ٹی وی اور اخبار کے نمائندوں کے سامنے اسلام کا نقطۂ نظر واضح کیاگیا۔ آخر میں تمام نمائندوں کے درمیان اسلامی لٹریچر تقسیم کیا گیا۔ پریس کانفرنس کی پوری کارروائی انگریزی زبان میں ہوئی۔ مختلف نمائندوں کی تعداد تقریباً بیس تھی۔میڈیا میں اِس کو نمایاں طورپر کور (cover) کیاگیا ہے۔ انگریزی رپورٹنگ کا ایک حصہ یہاں نقل کیا جاتاہے:

1. New Delhi, July 30 - A leading Muslim scholar Wednesday said a new ideology and stricter laws are needed to counter the militant face of Islam.

‘Violence begins from mind and every violence has an ideology. The solution is to counter it by evolving another counter-ideology,’ said Maulana Wahiduddin Khan at a press conference organised by Centre for Peace and Spirituality here Wednesday. ‘We need to dispel their wrong notions and tell them that killing innocent people in the name of Jihad will send them to hell and not heaven,’ he said. Maulana Wahiduddin Khan is a noted Islamic scholar and has authored more than 200 books on Islam. He established the Islamic centre in 1970 and CPS International in 2001 for bringing out the true face of Islam and to promote peace among nations. ‘After 60 years of freedom, we are - living under the shadow of bomb. My vocabulary fails to give me appropriate words to condemn the inhuman act of bomb blasts in Bangalore and Ahmedabad,’ said Maulana Wednesday. ‘One needs to differentiate between Islam and Muslim. You need to judge Muslim in the light of Islam, and not vice versa,’ he added. ‘When Islam came into the world in 7th century, there were only two literatures, Quran - and Hadith -. Muslims had a huge empire in the world and for nearly 1,000 years during their rule other literature was developed which was, however, influenced by political ideas,’ he added. ‘It was during this time that Muslims developed a psyche of supremacy, considering their Prophet as superior among all messengers of gods and their religion supreme among all others. However, this is nowhere written in Quran,’ said Maulana. ‘They entered modern period with this legacy but the condition today is not same and they don't have the same empire. This has led to Muslims living in despair and frustration, trying for political supremacy. Now out of frustrations, they have started suicide bombings,’ Maulana stated. He suggested that Muslim leaders and reformers take on the baton and educate their brethren all over the world. (IANS)

2. NEW DELHI, July 31 (Bernama) – A renowned Indian Muslim scholar has urged Muslim leaders to promote counter-ideology to stem terrorism, as mere condemnation will not stop the growing menace, which continues to rear its ugly head in all corners of the earth. “All the educated people, both religious and secular, are engaged in condemning this act (terrorism).” “And this is not a new phenomenon. I can say that we are engaged in this kind of condemnation for half a century. This has failed to yield positive result,” Maulana Wahiduddin Khan, president of the New Delhi Islamic Centre, told reporters. “We have to tell Muslims that according to Islamic Shariah, this kind of violence is haram (unlawful). Islamic ideology is completely based on peaceful method. We have to introduce this ideology to the misguided Muslims,” hesaid. India needed to reassess its strategy to discover the root cause of this violent culture that is threatening the entire country. (BERNAMA)

5 - صدر اسلامی مرکز کی ایک نئی کتاب’حکمت اسلام‘ کے نام سے چھپ کر گڈورڈ بکس (نئی دہلی) سے شائع ہوگئی ہے۔ یہ کتاب 348 صفحات پر مشتمل ہے۔ اِس کتاب میں اسلامی تعلیمات کا مطالعہ حکیمانہ پہلو سے کیاگیا ہے۔ اِس کتاب میں یہ دکھانے کی کوشش کی گئی ہے کہ اسلام ہر دور کے انسان کے مائنڈ کو ایڈریس کرتا ہے۔ وہ ہر دور کے عقلی معیار پر پورا اترتا ہے۔
