THE POWER OF CREATIVITY
A university professor was once asked, “In your opinion, what is the mark of an educated person?” The professor replied, “It is the person who can create something out of nothing.” This definition is indeed very true. Without doubt, the greatest mark of an educated and aware person is the ability to discover something new. In situations that appear empty, they are able to bring something into existence. This quality applies to every field of life—whether it is knowledge, business, social matters, or national affairs. In short, in every area of life, the person who can prove this human ability is the one who can achieve real success.
In this world, a person must move from ordinary knowledge to the discovery of higher wisdom. They must find the positive side within unfavourable conditions. They must discover a friend even among enemies. They must make a journey of success through the storm of failures. They must show that from the ruins of life, they can build a new and magnificent palace. Those who demonstrate this creative ability are the ones truly deserving to be called human. Those who cannot show it are, in reality, like animals—even if outwardly they wear the clothing of human beings.
This creativity is the greatest asset of any individual or nation. It is what gives them a high position in today’s world. Those who lose the ability to create cannot find their place here by any other means. No matter how much noise they make, no matter if their cries and protests echo through the heavens and the earth, they may stir up the sound of loudspeakers—but they will never be able to build the silent fortress of strength.
