A COMPARISON
Man does not know the matters of the unseen realm. The Quran says:
“Say, ‘I have no power to benefit or do harm, save as God pleases. If I had knowledge of the unseen, I would have availed myself of an abundance of good, and no harm would have touched me.’” (7:188)
According to the above verse, man does not know the unseen. He does not know what will happen in the future. He acts based on his knowledge of ‘today’ but is completely unaware of what will happen tomorrow. In contrast, God is the Knower of the Unseen (besides the Seen). That is, He has complete knowledge of the Unseen. From this difference between man and God, we can obtain a principle of comparison.
It is in comparison that we understand. Using this principle, we can understand that no work done by man is without flaws; in contrast, all the examples of God’s creation before us are flawless. No human management system is free from defects, but the solar system, which God has made, is an example of entirely zero-defect management.
In the 20th century, developed countries made significant efforts to establish a zero-defect management system within their industries, aiming to achieve perfection in the natural world. However, they failed miserably in this endeavour, leading to the acceptance that no man-made system could ever be completely devoid of defects. This disparity serves as conclusive proof of the existence of a Creator.
