If we were to define a noble person, who would that be? I would say that a noble person is someone with a predictable character, whose behavior can be anticipated. But what does a predictable character mean? It means that you can know in advance what they will do next. For instance, in any dealings or financial transactions, you can be confident that they will fulfill their obligations when the time comes. "If they make a promise or commitment, you can be assured in advance that when the time comes, they will keep their word." Even if you criticize them, you can be certain that your criticism won’t breed malice in their heart. Instead, they will view your criticism as constructive and take it positively. So, I believe the best person is one with a predictable character, someone about whom others can form an opinion in advance, knowing how they will behave or react in any given situation. This, I believe, is the hallmark of a truly great person.
