There is a big falsehood which I would like to clarify. People think that haram or unlawful is that which they shouldn’t do, such as drinking wine, eating pork. But this is wrong. According to a hadith: مِنْ حُسْنِ إِسْلاَمِ الْمَرْءِ تَرْكُهُ مَا لاَ يَعْنِيهِ (Sunan al-Tirmidhi 2317) One is to leave all that which is unlawful and the other is to leave what is resultless. One is to leave all that which God has clearly declared unlawful. But there are other things, which are resultless, destroy your health or waste your time. You have to leave them as well. Otherwise, you won’t get Paradise. You will definitely not get Paradise if you didn’t follow the principle of leaving that which is resultlesss.

Why? There is a big reason for this. If a person remains involved in unlawful things, Satan becomes his companion. Satan is the companion of those who are involved in unlawful things. But one who doesn’t leave things that are resultless and is involved in non-beneficial matters, angels leave him. He remains deprived of angels' companionship. If a person smokes cigarettes or chews tobacco, he will have to pay the price which is that he will lose the companionship of angels. Can you afford that angels leave you? It is a big fallacy for people to believe that they have left unlawful things. rather, they must also leave everything which is resultless.

You must leave non-beneficial things. What is non-beneficial things? Wasting money, wasting time, destroying your health and sitting with corrupt people. All those who are listening to me and is involved in all this, must decide to leave all this. They must do it now or never. Those who are listening to me, I will say to them that if they don’t want to be deprived of angels' companionship, they must decide now. You must decide to leave chewing of tobacco and smoking cigarettes.
