No Problem Person

The freedom we have been given in this world is so that we  try to achieve our target, but on one condition. The condition is that we should restrict ourselves to our orbit. We should not enter other people's orbits. This has been mentioned in the hadith. It gives the example of a horse which is tied to a peg. The peg has a rope to which the horse is tied. The horse roams about the peg. The Prophet said that the horse moves about but only as much as the rope allows. It does not go beyond the length of the rope. Every horse has a rope tied to its neck. Similarly, a human being should have the 'rope of faith' tied to his neck. God has given freedom to people, but this freedom must not be misused. An individual must utilize his freedom by restricting himself to the sphere which is appropriate in God's eyes.

The Quran says: "The sun cannot overtake the moon, nor can the night outpace the day." (36:40). This is a model. The illustration of this model is in the form of the sun, the moon and the stars -- all are rotating in their orbits. None of these bodies collides with another body. The above verse of the Quran mentions the sun and the moon, but it includes all stars. That is, all the stars, the uncountable number of stars -- which are moving in space and none of which is stationary -- are moving in their respective orbits, and do not collide with other stars. This is an example set by God in nature. It shows us the kind of activities we humans should engage in. That is, we should not create problems for others, we should not clash with others and we should not try to find out our way by fighting with others. The universe is so vast. It has numerous stars, all of which are moving continuously. But no star collides with other stars. This is a divine model.

Just as a horse tied to a rope only moves about in a fixed area, and all the stars rotate in their respective orbits, a human being also has to work in a way that he does not create problems for others. In other words, I can say that every human being has to live as a 'no problem person' in this world. Every man and woman should live in society in such a way that they become no-problem persons for others. This is the model which God has set for us.
