A hadith says: وَلَا يَجْتَمِعَانِ فِي قَلْبِ عَبْدٍ الْإِيمَانُ وَالْحَسَدُ (Sunan al-Nasai 3109) If someone has more, we become jealous. If a person receives more fame, money or high office, we become jealous of him. Such feelings can never come together with true faith. If this happens, faith does not remain any more. What does this mean? What is jealousy? This is another name for negative thought. When we live in society, there are two ways to live. One is to live with negative thought. The other is to live with positive thought. Being jealous of others and having bad thoughts for someone because they are higher than us. Considering someone low because he is lesser than us. Jealousy means negative thought.

Negative thoughts cannot exist along with Islam and faith. Faith exists with positive thought. In one word, we can say faith is positive thinking. The opposite of faith is negative thinking. This contains everything. God has kept you in a world where you are being tested. You cannot be tested unless you face unwanted situations and provocations. You will constantly face thorns. People will provoke you and make you angry. These are negative thoughts. Having negative thoughts while living in society is but natural. This is inevitable. There can be negative reaction and positive reaction. One who gives a negative reaction fails in the test and one who gives a positive reaction passes in the test.
