If a person has even an iota of negativity, his heart will not be thankful. Thankfulness requires immense positivity, rather 100% positivity. This is why, we have to be patient. You cannot eliminate evil from the world. Evil will always be there because God has given freedom to humans. If there is freedom, people will misuse their freedom. How can you then eliminate evil? It is not within your capacity to abolish freedom. So you cannot even eliminate all unpleasant situations. They will continue to exist. In spite of these, you have to stay positive. How is that possible? That is through patience. Be patient over these situations to make yourself positive. When you remain positive, you will experience thrilling thankfulness. This is the process. You will have to ignore everything that goes against you. You will have to be patient. You will have to empty your heart of negativity.  When you do this, you will become positive. When you become positive, a thinking process will arise that will give rise to super shukr.
