Many people understood Islam after reading my books. They became interested in Islam. But there are many people who think my books contain something different. I thought a lot about this. I have never deviated from the original Islam. I have only presented Islam in the modern idiom with modern references. I have shown how Islam is relevant to the modern condition. Then why do people find my books strange? The reason is very clear. They see my literature in connection with other literature. However, they should see my literature with reference to the Quran and Hadith. The books of other people are like confusion. How can you see my literature with reference to confusion?

The interpretation by others is like a curtain over the original Islam. I have removed the curtains and tried to understand the original Islam. Then I presented the original Islam in my books. I can say for sure that I have not found any person who says my books are not in accordance with the Quran. Whoever differs with me or criticizes me, finds that my books are different from the books by others.

In Nagpur a person opened a bookshop. He kept various Islamic books there. Someone suggested to him to not keep my books. He claimed that my books create distrust on our pious ancestors. He didn’t say that my books create distrust in Islam, or distrust in God and the Prophet. He claimed that my books create distrust on our pious ancestors. This is no criterion. He should judge my books on the Quran and Hadith and not on the books written by others. If the books of other people were enough, I wouldn’t have written books at all. After study, I realized that the Quran had not been represented properly. This is why, I wrote books. If a person wants to know if my books present Islam in the right way, should judge it on the basis of the Quran, Hadith and model of the Sahaba. Judging my books with reference to other people's books is not doing justice with me.
