You have to discover that your achievements are from God. You are nothing. You are zero. Everything is done by God. This discovery is maarifat. When you discover God in this way, your ego is erased. You only have modesty. This is when you receive spiritual inspiration from God. Without this, there is no inspiration. God's inspiration is pouring down every moment. But it can be received only by a modest person. If you lack even a particle of modesty, God's inspiration will be withheld. You may be living in wishful thinking, but you may never receive God's inspiration. You should have no ego. You should become totally egoless. Be completely modest. Only then you come close to God. This is possible when you truly discover God. You have to put yourself in a process. You have to go through a process to come close to God.
