Earlier I used to often share my thoughts with the title From the Spiritual Tree. I had not used this title since long. Why? Because the tree adjacent to my house, which I call the spiritual tree, had dried up and remained so for long. I thought the tree had dried up and won't come back to life again. It had become like dried up wood. What happened then? When rainy season came, leaves sprung up again in the tree. Branches came forth and it became green and verdant. If you look at the tree, it is lush green now. Earlier, it had only been a dry trunk. This incident gave me a great lesson.
The Quran says: يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ (6:95) I saw this happen right before my eyes. We see that something dead or lifeless comes to life again. My spiritual tree became a witness to this truth. I got many lessons from this experience. I will put across some points before you. One point is that which relates to the individual. Often an individual has an experience that makes him feel he has neared his end. He feels there is nothing for him ahead.
A poet has said:
It is strange that this ship after being drowned became afloat again,
We have seen such transformations as well!
The first message of the spiritual tree is that you should not take any experience as the end. After every end, there is a new beginning. This is a great lesson. Every night is followed by a new morning. After every death, there is life. This is true for this world as well as the Hereafter.
