Center for Peace and Spirituality USA has launched the first-ever Maulana Wahiduddin Khan Legacy Competition and is awarding grants up to $5000 USD. You can participate by submitting either a research paper, a comprehensive essay or book reviews.

The aim of the Maulana Wahiduddin Khan Legacy Competition is to promote critical thinking, academic research and encourage the habit of reading and reflection. You can participate by either submitting an academic research paper or a comprehensive essay on this year’s theme: Life, Works and Thoughts of Maulana Wahiduddin Khan. You can also submit book reviews which will be displayed on our website for the world to read.

National Biblical Catechetical & Liturgical Centre Bangalore had conducted an Interfaith meet on the topic Islamic Perspective with regard to Fraternity in the Present Situation in India. Fathima Sarah participated in this programme. A set of books were gifted to the library of this Institute and the entire audience received a copy of the Quran and a few brochures.

On International Women’s Day, West Bengal Mediation and Dispute Resolution Council (WICCI) organized an international webinar on “Building an Equal and Accountable World: Faith-Based Organizations and Women-Led Organizations as Allies towards the Cause of Social Inclusion and Diversity.”

CPS INTERNATIONAL participated in Segment 3: Women in Faith Communities.

CPS International Member, Ms Shabina Ali gave an introductory speech followed by CPS International member Ms. Fathima Sarah’s talk on the topic ‘Building an Equal and Accountable World’.

eventGoodword Books participated in a book fair in USA Arizona, Tuscon. The Peaceful message of Islam was introduced to a number of visitors.

Three members of the Bangalore Chapter of CPS International Inayatullah Umri, Abrar Mudsser and Fathima Sarah have been visiting various organizations and Ashrams with the message of Peace and Harmony. These are informal meetings. Books are gifted to the libraries with a PowerPoint presentation about the CPS mission. Some of these organizations are: Sri Sathya Sai Baba Ashram (Whitefield, Bangalore), Art of Living Ashram of Sri Sri Ravishankar (Bangalore), Fireflies Ashram (Bangalore), Siddaganga Mutt (Tumkur).
