People want those persons as leaders who shout and speak in a fiery way from the stage, but do not wish to follow those who speak the truth. This situation is indicative of a phenomenon of decline, a phenomenon of degeneration. Every community undergoes decline after some generations. In the present day, Muslims are going through a phase of degeneration. The starting point is not that a demand for a separate Muslim nation should be made, or that Muslims should be given favour, or that Muslims should be given training for jihad.
What is the reason for Muslims’ psychology of failure to understand the value of powerful argument? They only value bombastic words. Kindly explain. This is the greatest question of the present age. This has been a question for the past 200 years. That is, those who speak in a high profile way rise as leaders. They become leaders although they speak about the impossible, about something that will never happen. On the other hand, those who speak in a low profile way never become leaders, even though they speak the truth. These days many articles are published in Muslims' newspapers on the subject of 'Lack of Leadership'. They lament that there are no leaders among Muslims.
I believe that this is entirely baseless. I will say that the issue is not about lack of leadership, but the issue is of lack of acceptance of leaders. There are many leaders present. But people do not accept them as leaders. There is a saying applicable to this situation: 'If you accept me, I am god. But if you don't, you may just consider me a statue of stone.' People want those persons as leaders who shout and speak in a fiery way from the stage, but do not wish to follow those who speak the truth. This situation is indicative of a phenomenon of decline, a phenomenon of degeneration. Every community undergoes decline after some generations. This is no work at all. People's mindset should be changed. Their thinking should be changed. However, this work is not being done at all. Our mission is the first mission which is engaged in this task. We call this re-engineering of minds. The current situation of Muslims is due to their decline. But this situation of decline will not continue forever. Rather, they can be made alive once again. But they need to first take a starting point. The starting point is not to indulge in political upheavals, or that Muslims should acquire political power, or that Muslims should be given reservation, or that Muslims' emotions should be stirred up, or that their pride should be aroused. In one sentence, the mistake that has happened is that efforts have been made to restore the past political glory of Muslims. It is often reminded to them: "We were spread out in the East and the West, There was no nation in the world more powerful than ours." This was the kind of thinking which was developed in Muslims. But there was no work done to make them aware of present-day realities. This task requires the re-engineering of the mind, which our mission is engaged in.
