For creative thinking, it is essential that your mind be free of unnecessary matters and irrelevant issues. Majority of the people remain entangled in unnecessary matters. This is why they do not have creative thinking. 
What is the condition for creative thinking?

Positivity can never originate while you are involved in negativity. Positivity can never flourish in this manner. If a person wants to be creative, he will have to pay its price. That is, to free himself completely of negative thinking. Today somebody complained to me about something that happened several years ago. I said to him that the past has gone. You cannot bring it back. Why do you remember it again? Why do you make your mind negative by remembering past incidents? If a person knows the importance of creative thinking, and wants to make himself a positive thinker, he will have to pay its price. The price is in saving on self from three things: distractions, unnecessary questioning and negative sentiments. If one does not pay this price, one will never develop. You must know that creative thinking or positive thinking has a price. What is that price? It is to save yourself from unnecessary questioning, distractions and negativity. Only then will you go on the path of development, otherwise not.
