When a believer discovers God, he is very happy to know about God's greatness and God's glory. Such a discovery gives a universal mindset to a person. It doesn’t give him a limited mindset. Those who live in the concept of we and they, haven't yet found faith. If they think their wisdom is only for their community or nation, they haven't found faith. Wisdom is universal in nature. This is also a quality of faith which a believer must possess.
Faith opens up a person's mind. It makes a person's thinking universal. Can you limit God? Can you enclose God in a cell? God is far more than universal.
How is it possible for a person to limit himself when he believes in God and discovers Him? If God that he has discovered is universal, then how can the one who makes the discovery be enclosed in a cell?
This is very strange! Faith is to discover God's glory, realize God's greatness and to know God's majesty.
A person who believes in God should have an open mind, his thinking should be universal and he must think of the whole of humanity. This is why the Prophet said that wisdom is the lost property of a believer, wherever he finds it he is most deserving of it. (Sunan Ibn Majah 4169)
A hadith tells us that once a Bedouin lost his camel, which was his only asset. His camel was lost in the desert. It had strayed somewhere into a mountainous valley. The Bedouin frantically searched for his camel and when he found it, he exclaimed: اللهُمَّ أَنْتَ عَبْدِي وَأَنَا رَبُّكَ. O God, You are my servant and I am Your master! (Sahih Muslim 2747)
He said the opposite! He should have said: O God, You are my Master and I am Your servant. But instead he said: O God, You are my servant and I am Your master. This was a result of his excessive happiness.
This incident tells us what happens when you are happy about finding something.
