Don’t clash with the problems, rather avail of the opportunities. Avoid the problem, avail of the opportunity. The stream doesn’t clash with the stones. It moves on without confrontation. Human beings indulge in fighting. Humans proclaim people as obstacles and seek to remove these obstacles from their path. As long as these obstacles are not removed, we will not succeed. This is a big contradiction. When nature faces an obstacle, it avoids them. When humans face an obstacle, they begin to fight with it. They say we have to first put an end to the problem. Only they we would succeed. This is a strange contradiction. The formula of nature is avoid the problems, avail of the opportunities. This is why, nature is functioning very successfully. Humans have to follow this model.
A philosopher has said everything in this world is beautiful, except man. Only man is not beautiful. He didn’t mean that the form of a human being is not beautiful. He meant that the social behaviour of humans is not beautiful. What does a person do in society? He spreads corruption, intolerance, disputes, bloodshed and dishonesty. He usurps the wealth of others, dishonours and defames people. This is the contradiction. Nature on the one hand is peaceful, perfect and proper. But the human world is the opposite. This is the contradiction which needs to be finished.
The purpose of reformers and prophets was to put an end to the contradiction. Humans also have to follow the rest of the universe. They have to adopt the same culture and behaviour. I once went to Kashmir. I went outside the city with a few people. There were mountains and streams were flowing through the mountains. It was a very beautiful scene. I sat at one place with all the people. We saw a stream of water coming down. It had many stones and boulders in its path. The stream of water would not collide against the boulder. It would not remove the boulder from the path and then move ahead. When the water met the boulder, it would change its path. Instead of colliding with the boulder, the water would find another way out to move ahead. This is a big lesson given bu nature.
