The Iraq war, which began in March 2003, under the leadership of former President George Bush was perhaps the greatest war in history. It involved global resource and its cost was about three trillion dollars. The number of Iraqis killed in the conflict is over 500,000 and the number of US soldiers who died in the war is 4,486.

The United States of America is said to be the superpower of the world. But, it failed to achieve the required results from its war. US President Barack Obama himself said in an interview with VICE News: "ISIL (Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) is a direct outgrowth of Al Qaeda in Iraq that grew out of our invasion, which is an example of unintended consequences which is why we should generally aim before we shoot." [Highlight1]

Facing unintended consequences of one's actions is not only the case of the US, but it is the case of whole human history-both at the individual level and the national level. What is the reason for this? The reason is that both individuals and nations make a mistake, that is, whenever an issue comes before them, they become victim of their emotions. They are unable to adopt the realistic approach. This tendency is so common that it is hard to find an exception in this regard.

A person who wants to save himself from "unintended consequences" should follow the proven formula of wisdom-Don't follow your emotions, adopt the realistic approach in every matter.
