People have formed ridiculous notions about Paradise. They think they'll get Paradise through intercession, by birth or by reciting some words. All this is quite ridiculous. You should develop a personality which is worthy of being settled in an ideal world such as Paradise. You need to have a noble personality, high thinking and sublime character. Only then will you be capable of entry to Paradise. A believer is one whose supreme concern is Paradise. He has no other concern. Only then will the gates of Paradise be opened up for him.
The Quran says that God has made the earth a testing ground for humans (67:2) This world is not our real abode. Our real abode is Paradise. Paradise is a perfectly ideal world. Whom is Paradise for?
It is for: خَلَقَ الْمَوْتَ وَالْحَيَاةَ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ أَيُّكُمْ أَحْسَنُ عَمَلًا (Quran 67:2) “Paradise is for those who do good deeds. It is for chosen or selected people. ”
