If you have complaints against someone, put an end to it then and there. Don’t carry it in your heart. Generally, people harbour complaints in their hearts. This is true of every person. Some have complaints against family members, still others have complaints against the whole world. People carry complaints in their hearts. This goes totally against the prophetic practice.
When we live alongside other people, we develop complaints against one another. We stop speaking to those against whom we have complaints. Both sides remain angry. This was not the way of the Prophet. The prophetic way is that if someone does anything wrong, put an end to the matter then and there. The Prophet said that it is not permissible for anyone to not speak to another person. (Sahih al-Bukhari 6073)
