Islam is a religion of peace which is completely compatible with the modern age. The Quran is undoubtedly a book of peace, not a book of war and violence. It states, “Reconciliation is Best’ (Quran, 4:128) and refers to the unilateral peace agreement as a ‘clear victory’ (Quran, 48:1). Prophet Muhammad gave a complete ideology of peace based on the creation plan of God and a practical model of peace based on the method by which he negotiated the Hudaybiyyah Peace Treaty through unilateral sacrifice and patience. These provide principles, following which we can achieve peace.

People are in constant search for peace, but they fail to understand the ideology of peace. They want to know how one can attain peace and how this world can become a peaceful world.
