Accountability to God Helps in One's De-conditioning

By introspection, one must remind oneself of the accountability on the Day of Judgement. It is the sign of true faith. The true believer is only that person whose most significant concern is God. The true believer’s focus of thinking is only one, which is fear of God. He never forgets that he will be called to account by God. Such a person is always conscious of God.

People easily become exploiters, run after their self-interests and become dictators on attaining power. Why so?
They don’t have a powerful incentive for de-conditioning. Why should they do their de-conditioning?
They don’t have the concept of accountability, or that they have to give an account of their actions to God. This is the only concept that prepares you for de-conditioning or merciless self-hammering. This is why, in the whole of history no one could do his de-conditioning, except for a few people. Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin didn’t have the idea of correcting themselves through self-hammering. Everyone, including in India, speaks of historical wrongs. This is because it involves criticism of others. People seek to right the wrongs of history. But no person speaks of correcting his own mistakes. Why? Because this requires a great incentive, a very strong incentive. The fact that history has presented to us is that the greatest formula of life is to believe in accountability. We have to stand before God and give an account of our actions.
The Prophet has said: Copy Arabic text (Sahih Musilm 2876) One who is scrutinized will be ruined.

This is a strong incentive: a person must do introspection, self-hammering and decondition himself. Where this concept doesn’t exist, there can be no de-conditioning. Watson didn’t have this concept. Watson observed that a person is influenced by his environment, just as animals are. Animals living in greenery become green, while those in the midst of rocks turn black. Based on this he guessed that a person takes influence from his environment. He wrote a book on Behaviorism  People believed in his ideas. Neither did Watson have the concept of accountability nor anybody else did. People couldn’t understand the idea of de-conditioning. De-conditioning requires a strong incentive. If there is no strong incentive, there can be no de-conditioning either.
Why at all should you do your self-hammering?
People's case is generally one of conditioning.
